Trinity Retail Park, Ipswich
Urban Inprint pitched the Trinity Retail Park logo to a client who was looking to re-brand their retail estate in Ipswich. Their brief required us to create a brand that reflected the character of the local area instead of the European connotations their current logo provided. After doing some research we discovered that the site was located adjacent to Trinity Park, home of the annual Suffolk Show. The area is named after three animals native to the county of Suffolk. Namely Red Poll Cattle, the Suffolk Punch Horse and the Black Faced Suffolk Sheep. With this rich vein of history on the doorstep we created a mark from the shapes of these iconic animals. Unfortunately this project didn’t progress past the conceptual stage but the client was impressed by the work we did in such a short space of time.

Suffolk Punch Horse
The Suffolk Punch, also historically known as the Suffolk Horse or Suffolk Sorrel, is an English breed of draught horse. The breed takes the first part of its name from the county of Suffolk in East Anglia, and the name “Punch” from its solid appearance and strength.
Red Poll Cattle
The Red Poll is a breed of cattle developed in England in the latter half of the 19th century. The Red Poll is a cross of the Norfolk Red beef cattle and Suffolk Dun dairy cattle breeds. Red Poll cattle are mainly used as beef suckler cows, although a few dairy herds are found in England, as well as in the United States.
Black Faced Sheep
Suffolk sheep are a black-faced, open-faced breed of domestic sheep raised primarily for meat. Suffolk’s were originally developed in England as the result of crossing Southdown rams on Norfolk Horned ewes. They have black faces and legs, a large frame, and are highly muscular.
